The Present Continuous Tense (also called Present Progressive Tense) describes actions that are happening now or in progress. It can also express future plans.

Subject Helping Verb (to be) Verb + ing Rest of Sentence
I am eating breakfast.
He/She/It is playing the piano.
We/You/They are working on the project.
💡 Helping verb “to be” changes according to the subject.

🟨 Rules for Forming the Present Continuous Tense
