🔹 What is the Past Continuous Tense?

The Past Continuous Tense describes actions that were happening at a specific moment in the past. It is also used to set the scene in stories or show that an action was interrupted by another.

🔹 Structure of Past Continuous Tense

Subject Was/Were Verb + ing Rest of Sentence
I/He/She/It was reading a book.
We/You/They were watching TV.
💡 Use was with singular subjects, and were with plural subjects.

🔹 Rules for Forming Past Continuous Tense
